Yeoja Bay (汝自灣) is a tidal bay framed by Goheung, Boseong, Suncheon and Yeosu on Korea’s southern coast. Named after Yeoja Island, it is known for broad mudflats and cockles. The name may invite a playful misunderstanding, but this table welcomes everyone.

Lee Mi-rye made her feature debut with My Daughter Rescued from the Swamp in 1984. In spring 2005, she opened Yeojaman in Insadong with recipes learned from her mother-in-law in Goheung. Today, a director’s eye for the whole scene and every detail shapes the rhythm of each table.
